  1. This looks to be a Xigncode error. Check what programs are running and close anything that isn't necessary as there might be something Xigncode doesn't like.
  2. I wouldn't really measure anything using that as multiple things can cause inaccuracies with that specific number. However, this can be down to many different factors down to the core of the games design. Particle effects and such are usually GPU heavy so in terms of numbers this shouldn't really effect the CPU number too much. (Skill effects) One thing that could be a factor is loading of models and textures as IO (input/output) operations can be quite taxing. Due to all the players using different costumes in the hub and what the above mentioned about different pets all these have to be loaded into memory. Where as in a dungeon you might have say 20 monsters, but in terms of unique monsters there might only be 2-3 which would be cached into memory and just reused rather than reading the model file 10-20 times over. Also a general rule of thumb in games is that player related models such as costumes tend to have more detail there for having bigger model files than a simple monster would. Bosses can usually be an exception to this rule but in most cases a player would take longer to load and more GPU power to render than a mob in a dungeon. So I wouldn't really worry about it too much nore would I say its poorly designed or a game issue as its conditional. You might find some dungeons more taxing than others too.
  3. These costumes are a lot of work to add into the game and make them functional in all aspects. Where as adding say the new band costume was 5 - 6 files which some can be done by tools I've created these other costumes require 20+ files and a boat load of extra testing. That being said I cannot give an ETA but it likely wont be the next patch. However, things could change depending on time and such. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Naddic still actively working on new gears. I don't really think we'd want to be stepping on their toes as it can make future updates redundant if we released a gear that was better than what's coming next. So not saying never but it's something that at the current moment I don't think we'd be stepping into for the time being.
  4. Would be pretty pointless though to bring out a new content but people who have been grinding dailys for the past few months don't even really need to enter. I agree old materials should have some sort of burner use but new content should have lots of new stuff to work for that everyone starts on an even footing for. Otherwise you just end up with some content that some people don't even touch or barely touch and its just a waste of time for everyone involved in creating it right?
  5. Sorry for the late response! We will be looking into doing this as I know the cause and I know how to fix this. However, this will be a large update so it may not be implemented until our next major content update as those tend to be on the larger side anyway.
  6. Anyone still having issues make sure you have tried the following instructions. ~~ Option 1 Delete the XIGNCODE Folder. Open the patcher and press diagnose. ~~ Option 2 Delete XIGNCODE Folder and CW.EXE Open the patcher and press diagnose. ~~ Option 3 Go to the following thread and look for the XIGNCODE help information ~~ Final Option Reinstall the game. Public Notice~ Please do not install other peoples XIGNCODE Folders as you just don't know what's been done to them nore do you know where they came from originally. I know some people have found some mild success in speeding up the Xigncode Process or be able to bypass the errors but is it really worth the risk? Someone could have put something malicious in those files you just don't know. We do not recommend anyone downloading any XIGNCODE folder unless its one of our staff members giving you the download. We will be removing any download links from Discord/Forums for XIGNCODE and anyone asking for someone else to upload. If you want a clean version Diagnose or Reinstall the Client.
  7. I would try revert your system back and seeing if it changes anything. This should not have affected Xigncode. Just remember that Xigncode is an Anti-Cheat software so if you're using some form of VPN along side changing the region or you used some sort of software this might also be triggering the issue.
  8. Yes Xigncode updates itself everytime it opens. It works the same way Anti-Virus software works in which every time you turn it on it will check for updated definitions of what programs are to be considered Malicious. The speed will depend on your connection and location to the server aswell as the routing. Gitae will look for something to help speed it up but chances are thats the best we're going to get. However, we are trying our best looking into these crashes. Once we have more news on a possible ETA we will update you guys if not release a fix the moment we can. All we can ask for is patience on this matter.
  9. Try delete the following: XIGNCODE Folder CW.exe Then try diagnose the client before playing.
  10. That's just down to the file name being .CODE not .EXE, kinda think its a dumb move by NVIDIA cause I know atleast 4 games off the top of my head that don't name their exe .EXE by default.
  11. Thank you for sharing your fix, It's appreciated. Not really sure how you can be running the game at anything less than 2GB of ram considering the whole reason KR has swapped to a 64 bit client is because of the game using too much ram and even though the application is large-address aware doesn't make it invincible to the OS telling it "no you cannot allocate more memory". I also don't really see how it suddenly would double. The actual executable CW.CODE that you keep highlighting is no different to CW.EXE from before the fix, it's the exact same application... It just needs some an additional help to fix any Xigncode problems that the patcher cannot do by itself. I will speak to Gitae and see if he knows why it might have increased. However, if it has increase it for sure hasn't increased by a whole GB of ram thats for sure.
  12. I'm not sure why you suddenly have new options nore why you're having frame issues when the patch had no impact on the game client in anyway and only effected Xigncode to fix it. A couple things to try (Best to try them in order): Diagnose, make sure nothing fails while diagnosing the client maybe try running the patcher as admin to see if that improves the diagnose process. First thing to check, make sure your graphics card software is not applying any properties to the game and try disabling any overlay software like Discord. Try add the entire folder to your Anti-Virus exceptions (Whether you have disabled it or not) and then try diagnose again. Try delete CW.exe and then once again diagnose before playing. Failing all the above maybe try reinstall the game.
  13. Try patching your client it should be ok now. Let us know if its still having issues.

    Divine Battle

When we discussed the rewards with the team everyone said to keep the default rewards and nothing needed to be changed from what was present on KR/CHN so there was no rush on this part. We will take this feedback into the next DB but remember it's not really an event and the plan was to rotate through them all each month and not just have them every now and then. However, due to the setback with the last DB we will be addressing the issues before releasing it again. We believe the issue may have been caused by DST but we're not sure until we've finished internal testing.
  15. I thank everyone for your responses here and we've found some area's of improvements than can be made but ultimately this is down to the client just requiring too much memory. The 64bit update that Naddic did has provided a bandaide to the client and is having a notable effect on performance. We cannot say when we'll get this update but once we have news about it we will let you know. We are in the mean time looking for minor area's of improvement to try and fix the issues with the game but just remember it's basically just me working on this and the event and the custom content. So just try to have a small bit of understanding that I'm a human and not a robot 😁
  16. It means your game has crashed. Without looking at it I cannot say why but it's likely down to the Closers client just being very bad especially with handling its memory. We're looking into this issue every day trying to find improvements and we hope to have news on this when we can.

    Divine Battle

I apologize that the community wasn't informed sooner I was under the impression we'd given the FO's a message to pass on which wasn't clear on my behalf so the only thing I can say is I'm sorry for the late information and it's my fault for that. We're still looking into what was the cause of this reset before hosting a future Divine battle as it was working when we tested it on the test server. We where not however waiting for it to fix this week because we already knew the table had been wiped as this was the first thing we checked. Because if the table still existed we could have recovered players team and points with a quick maintenance. However, as soon as the first round ended the whole thing was wiped and that was the end of it with the only thing left being a backup that wasn't up-to-date enough to be worth it. We will be discontinuing Divine Battle until we have tested it again and we will likely be making more frequent backups specifically for this table when releasing it in the future so that at the very least you might lose a days work (However, this would be more of an insurance incase it breaks again rather than a solution). We can only offer our apologies for this mistake and we will be granting some compensation when we release our spring event. We will not be doing a big event due to the work we're doing behind the scenes towards bringing some custom content. I cannot give you an ETA on the custom content as thats still being developed but the event should be either this week or next week depending on how smoothy the work on it goes. We apologise for any delays on information as we've been missing Harpy as shes very sick at the moment, we're moving as fast as we can without her but she plays a vital role in the work so please have some understand on any delays. I thank you for your patience and I understand your complaints and apologise for this issue.
  18. I'm not really sure what else it can be other than something on your system bring corrupted. I found this post online that has some other things you can try to see if it helps resolve the issue but to be honest I'm not sure whats wrong if you've done everything correctly. https://www.diskgenius.com/how-to/fix-error-code-0xc000007b.php What is your computers specifications?
  19. Can you try the Direct X link from the thread I linked: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 I'm not entirely sure what version of Dirext X you installed as it doesn't seem to state the version unless I'm being blind. Also can you specify if you installed both 32bit and 64bit C++ Runtime Libraries as you do not need Visual Studio C++, you need the runtime libraries for C++ that are labeled as Redistrobutional packages. You can find a link to them on the thread I linked or here: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Complete-download-links-for-Microsoft-C-Redistributable
  20. Please list everything you try exactly or we cannot help you. What versions of the C++ redistrobutional packages did you install and what version of direct x did you install. Same thing applies to .NET libraries. If you need more information on this please check my response to this post: https://codeclosers.to/forums/index.php?/topic/9205-0xc00007b-error/&do=findComment&comment=73907
  21. Just to say it straight out of the gate... Testing other games and applications doesn't prove your connection is not the issue because they're likely based in a different data center and most likely even in a different country. Along with this doing a speed test in what I presume is your local country will also not have no relevance to how good your connection is because again your connecting locally. As for your main concern the best I can recommend is trying a some form of ping boosting service like WTFast and see if that helps you. I feel like the issue could stem from trying to play the game in the day time because of most countrys now being in lockdown. I'm having a lot of issues myself with pretty much everything online because of this whether its my work machines not allowing me to connect of having massive delays and disconnects or even as simple as me trying to play a game based in my own country. My advice would be try playing at a different time and see if its better or worse or try some sort of ping boosting app or a VPN to see if it helps.
  22. You're not providing us enough information for us to help you this is why it is pointless. To start off let me give you context to your original comment about being able to play other games and not Closers. This is because when you download a Triple A game whether its from Steam, Disk or Pirated that doesn't matter. They all come with an installer that will ask you to install the libraries needed for the game to run correctly. These libraries are stored locally for the game so only the game can access them. I'm not sure about the exact process but you need a license to be able to bundle these libraries into your game installer and this is something we do not have. There for you we require you to install the libraries you are missing IF they are missing. Now how can you help us help you? For a start you need to make sure you have installed the correct C++ libraries. You need to installed specifically version 2008, 2010 and 2012 as these are the libraries that the game needs in order to run. You also need to make sure you install both 32 bit and 64 bit libraries. Here is a link that I found that has a referance link for each package you need from the Microsoft website: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Complete-download-links-for-Microsoft-C-Redistributable I want you to list every single one that you install in your next response. Don't just say C++ runtime installed, tell me what ones you installed. Next thing to try is the direct X libraries here is a link to the microsoft official download page for the specific library you should need https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 Again I want you to list that you installed this. The next thing to try is the .NET. Now I'm not sure the exact version this game uses but here is a link to the common ones to try: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Download/confirmation.aspx?id=65 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=55167 We can only help you if you provide this information. Us being on screenshare with you will not change anything as we will be saying the exact same thing we're saying now. We do not need to watch you install them. So please let me know once you've done all the above thank you.
  23. Hey guys, We've been getting a lot of feedback from players that there is an issue with the game in regards to the following error message "not enough free system memory. Terminating Closers...". Although the first call of this issue could be to shout "Memory Leak" and this could be true as this issue does infact stem from a lack of memory it doesn't necessarily say with 100% certainty that this is the cause of this problem (Although I would say it's the most likely cause). What is a memory leak you may ask? A memory leak is when an object is created and then isn't deleted when removed. So for example say a player enters the map you are in. Your game will create an object of that player that will store all the information about that player that you need to know, an example of this is as simple as their name and what costume they're wearing. Now say that player now leaves the map, your game should then delete all the information about that player it stored because it no longer needs it. However, if your game doesn't delete that information and then forgets about that player then the data that was stored about the player doesn't just vanish into thin air but instead will stay somewhere in your RAM. So that doesn't seem like a massive problem right? But say if you encouter a 100 players then thats 100 times the memory used and that is when it becomes a problem. As the program still has the memory allocated even though it isn't able to access the memory or doesn't choose to access the memory. Note: This is not me saying that players are causing the memory leak but just an example of what a memory leak actually is so that you can be smart about it and understand what we're dealing with here. Now the problem may sound simple when put like that but in reality the problem could be anywhere. Saying that its like finding a needle in a haystack is for sure an understatement. It's one of the biggest issues and easiest issues to have so I do not blame anyone who may have caused it. I do not believe this issue is new with this patch as many people have been getting this issue for a long time but it does seem to be getting worse with every update. This is likely down to the game consuming more RAM due to having a bigger file map and more data from the data files stored in memory. This also doesn't rule out the fact that what every is leaking memory could be getting bigger too so inturn the amount of memory leaked per leaked object is bigger. So what can you do to help? Well we need a couple bits of information from you guys who are experiencing this issue by providing us with the following information: Operating System... Hard drive type (SDD or HDD)... Be specific if it's your main hard drive or a secondary hard drive... Amount of RAM... Every step from opening the game till the crash... I don't need to know if you walked left or right in Busan but rather what character did you log into one dungeons your did what maps you visited what actions you did (like craftings and such)... The more information the more helpful. I'm not going to sit here and promise you this WILL be fixed and WHEN it will be fixed. But I want to promise you that we're trying to fix it. I would also like to state if you cannot provide the above information to please only comment when you can (Especially in relation to the 4th bullet point). We need information to help and if the information is too vague then it might hinder rather than help. Thank you for taking your time to read this and thank you for any information provided. Posts that are unrelated to this issue or are too vague will be hidden to help improve clarity of the post. I hope that you understand this and if you can provide more information it doesn't stop you from posting again when you have the information.
  24. For our first round of custom content we've already planned it internally with the FO's and is already under early stages of development. We will be putting some priority on getting a small event out soon but the main reason it is small is so we can focus on the new custom content. This is definatly something we can do for a future custom content though but right now since its the first thing we wanted to keep it within our limitations but also so we can experiment more with the game during it. We will likley bring out some previews and have a discussion thread but most of that will come after the event as that will be our focus for the next few weeks. Private BM is something that we ran out of time for but something I will be looking into at some point in the future. As for the pet revamp we literally just missed it with the latest update. It caused us a lot of headaches with this update but unfortunatly it will be missing until we do a big update again. Apologies.
